Patriarch Mario Vietti started making wine in 1919 and soon the Vietti winery grew to be one of the top-level producers in the region of Piedmont. The brand is now the 3rd most popular in Italian wine brand in the US. The winemaker Alfredo Currado is truly passionate about wine and is credited with the rediscovery of the Arneis grape variety which is now the most popular white wine variety in the Roero area.
The concept for their fantastic labels arose one night around a bottle of Barolo Rocche. Alfredo was sat drinking his wine with a group of artists who believed that his wines deserved to be graced with labels unlike any other.
