Auxey-Duresses is located next to the famous vineyards of Meursault and not far from those of Puligny Montrachet in the Côte de Beaune. The vines here spread across two hills. The grapes for this fine white Burgundy are picked and sorted by hand before careful vinification and maturation in 40% new oak.
Maison Nicolas Potel combines the classical elegance of traditional Burgundy and a modern, dynamic outlook. Based in the heart of the Cote d’Or, in Nuits Saint Georges, they hand craft their wines to produce balanced fruit-forward reds, and fresh, pure whites. Each appellation is produced in small volumes, with minimum intervention. Their philosophy is based on the respect of the terroir and centuries of Burgundian know-how, which has led them to believe that an organic, hands-off approach is best suited to express the individuality of the wines.
