2011 has been referred to as "the drinkers' vintage" meaning that these wines do not have to be cellared for years to evolve and mature before providing a satisfying and rewarding drinking experience. That being said there is certainly no rush to drink up. Ralph Garcin, the winemaker here, brings with him experience from wineries in California and Oregon and also worked with one of the great Rhône Valley producers, Michel Chapoutier.
