A remarkable and incredibly special Cognac dating back to the 1800s - 1 of 2 bottles available.

It shows superb smoothness and mellow overtones, following the many years of maturation in bottle. It has a beautiful bronze copper colour, with flavours predominantly of coffee and malt. The levels in both bottles are at the mid-neck, the capsules are both in faultless condition and the corks are completely intact. The labels have badly disintegrated as visible in the images. The deep punt and the Salamander logo on the bottles give a very good indication that the bottles date from the1800s.

Another bottle of the same case of the Monnet Cognac has been tasted and was in superb condition. While we like to ensure all our products are in perfect condition, in this instance due to the age we can't give a 100% guarantee.
