This part of Nuits St. Georges is a premier cru ‘climat’ and is found mid-slope on the Côte d’Or escarpment. The word Porret in its name is said to come from the pear trees which grew here previously. Drinking perfectly now but no rush. Enjoy with red meat and small game.
