Mark Savage, Master of Wine, said about this wonderful sweet wine "Daniel Alibrand took over some 5 hectares of vines in the good Sauternes commune of Fargues in 2005, has extended it to 7.5 hectares and has shown himself well capable of producing great wines to rival many of the more celebrated and expensive ‘crus’ in the region. The first vintage I bought was the superb 2007 and that has now been followed, we might even say trumped, by the magnificent 2009 and 2010 vintages."
