Appointed at a young age as wine-maker for now premier grand cru classé A Château Ausone and then Château Belair, Pascal Delbeck has shown himself incredibly talented in the craft of winemaking. Pascal, a philosophical purist uninterested by the impatient pursuit of image and status, makes wines that are a true expression of their Bordeaux ‘terroirs’ and as such they sometimes demand a little patience from the buyer. That patience is always rewarded.
