Adjacent to Chateau Magdelaine and Chateau Canon. Owned by Vincent de Lesquen, the yineyard and chai was totally improved 25 years ago and more recently winemaking has been given to Patrick Valette leading to a marked improvement in quality and ranks in the Premier Cru on quality.
Jancis Robinson – Sumptuous and polished. Not too heavy or dry.
James Suckling – Well integrated tannins, fresh fruit, medium finish and well balanced.
Robert Parker – Impeccably well made, for early consumption tasting of black cherries, cassis and herbs.
