A dark golden, sweet, sumptious, white wine. It has an unusually intense rich nose of pinapple, melted butter and crystallized citrus with orange notes with liquorice and cinnamon. 1997 was an excellent vintage in Sauternes and this flavoursome, full-bodied, intense wine proves this well.

Château Guiraud was classified as a first growth in the 1855 classification.
