A fresh, very fruity, strawberry nose with rasberry and redcurrant and hints of spice with tobacco-like tannins. This vintage was an exceptional one in a lot of France and produced some sublime reds.

The wine comes from 50 year old vines bordering Fremiers and Jarolières in Pommard. Joseph Voillot's wines and now those of his son are known for excellent quality and great value, and are always worth looking for when hunting down special Burgundies.
