Domaine de la Pousse d'Or En Caillerets Clos des 60 Ouvrées, Volnay, 1988

A very pale wine with a delicate nose and sweet red berry look and taste with an earthy twist. It has a light, smooth texture with some acidity and unresolved tannin. This wine is a high quality example of the vintage.

The Pousse d'Or domaine at Volnay was established in 1954. Its vineyards are anything but ordinary, consisting mainly of premier and grand crus in the villages of Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Corton, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay
