Description

"Thick, rich, viscous and balanced by acidity, the wine is a must buy for me, this white wine was SO exciting!" so commented Craig S Collins on this wine. Similarly Robert Parker lavished praise on this superb white wine "An excellent vintage for Bordeaux’s dry whites, which tend to be vastly underrated, exceptionally long-lived (30-40 years in some cases), the 2005 possesses crisp acidity as well as serious weight, richness, and texture. This is one of the top 2005 dry white Bordeaux wines."

Clos Nardian is a tiny vineyard next to the Mairie in the leafy village of Saint Aubin de Branne, just south of Saint Emilion. The vineyard was bought by the celebrated winemaker Johnathon Malthus and Chateau Teyssier, along with several other local vineyards. Only ten barrels of this wine are made each year ensuring the highest of qualities.
