Description

A deep purple wine with a complex nose of overripe dark fruits, tobacco, with some elements of green pepper, well balanced tannins and a good concentration. This wine is silky, suave and delicious on the palate. It is a classic Bordeaux, and although not from a renowned vintage, this wine like several wines from Graves faired better than expected.

Château La Mission Haut-Brion was once owned by the Congrégation de la Mission de Saint-Lazare, a missionary order commonly know as the Lazarites. Their aim was to lift the spirits of mankind and one of these methods was through their excellent wine.
