Red Wine

Fine Red Wine

Red wine is produced when the grapes are fermented with the skins on.

During the fermentation process contact of the skins with the grape’s juice causes the dispersion of both colour and tannins. The specific wine's hue of red depends on the grape type used in the process and the length of time the skin’s pigmentation is in contact with juice (if the skin is included for just a very short time, the result will be rose wine).
